These Images show the Deans Lift which is a small rotating platform with rings rotating around it. I used one of my rotational textures in conjunction with the spinning disc to give a powerful feel to the lift/

This is the students elevator which has spinning triangular elements and an explosive motion texture on the platform. I used the triangles and the texture to convey the chaotic and rushing nature of university students.

The Librarby cantillevers out of the cliff face which relates back to my idea of cantilevering, verticality and minimal environmental impact working in harmony.

This tall slender tower contains the computer labs and the lecture hall

Arieal view of the bridge spanning the valley

This is a close up shot of the architectural folly. It is a jetty-like area with seating and shelter it relates back to my initial concept of cantilevers with the shelter only being supported at one end by a pillar

These images are of the gallery and office buildings which cantilever out over the water and attach to the Bridge

Article Mashup

Canitlevering has to have strength and power along with verticality in order to stimulate the eye and mind. This collaboration will also allow vertical distribution of the programme resulting with a structure that has miniaml environmental impact and very high visability. It will inspire the students to look beyond the common and expected for their problem solving design ideas.
